Precinct Committeemen 2010. In 2010, Will County had 452 precincts. Only 251 precincts had a candidate for Republican Precinct Committeeman. No Republican ran in 201 precincts.

 

2012 Presidential Race. In the 2012 Presidential election, the county supported Democrat Barack Obama 51-47% over Republican Mitt Romney.

 

2008 Presidential Race. In the 2008 Presidential election, the county supported Democrat Barack Obama 56-43% over Republican John McCain.

 

2004 Presidential Race. In the 2004 Presidential election, the county supported Republican George W. Bush 52-47% over Democrat John Kerry.

 

About Will County. Will County was formed in 1836 out of Cook, Iroquois and Vermilion Counties. Its county seat is Joliet, Illinois.

 

Will County was named for Dr. Conrad Will, a businessman involved in salt production in southern Illinois, and also a politician. He was a member of the first Illinois Constitutional Convention and a member of the Illinois Legislature until his death in 1835. Learn More
