Precinct Committeemen. Champaign County has 117 precincts. In 2010, only 34 precincts had a candidate for Republican Precinct Committeeman. No Republican ran in 83 precincts.

 

2008 Presidential Race. In the 2008 Presidential election, the county supported Democrat Barack Obama 58-40% over Republican John McCain.

 

2004 Presidential Race. In the 2004 Presidential election, the county supported Democrat John Kerry 50-48% over Republican George W. Bush.
