Maybe it’s Sarah Palin who won’t be seen with Mark Kirk

Joseph Ryan of the Daily Herald wrote today: “So for all of Palin’s star power as a former vice presidential candidate whose autobiography recently dominated the best-seller charts, many Republicans running for office in Illinois are not jumping up to meet her.”

Did Mr. Ryan consider that maybe Sarah Palin is the one who doesn’t want to be seen with some of these so-called Republican candidates in Illinois, maybe especially Mark Kirk?

Recall that back in November during her visit to Chicago, Mark Kirk tried to secure Palin’s support.

So did Mark Kirk have a change of heart? Or could it be that Palin is choosing not to be seen with a pro-abortion, pro-gay agenda, gun-grabbin’, tax raisin’, cap ‘n tradin’ candidate like Mark Kirk?

Consider how appearing with Mark Kirk could hurt Sarah Palin’s brand. Her rationale for not wanting to appear with Kirk would be justified.

Palin is a leader in the pro-life movement. Mark Kirk even supports the barbaric practice of partial birth abortion.

Palin is a “drill, baby, drill” kind of gal. Mark Kirk is a cap ‘n traitor.

Palin doesn’t believe in special rights for homosexuals. Mark Kirk is a leader of the pro-gay agenda.

Palin is an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Mark Kirk is a gun-grabber.
