A good friend and dedicated conservative from Kane County passed along an email response she received earlier this week from Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady.
Our friend had emailed Pat Brady, and in a very professional way, took him to task for taking a side in the Republican Primary race for Kane County Board Chairman. (Pat Brady has not only endorsed Kevin Burns in his race against Chris Lauzen – Brady also serves as Burns’ campaign chairman.)
Copied below is the response the conservative activist received from Pat Brady. Brady makes an absurd claim about the “progress” he’s made at the helm of the State GOP – but even more outrageous is the personal shot he takes at an incumbent Republican State Senator.
Pat Brady’s email is copied below. We’ve redacted our friend’s name to protect her from Brady and his attack dogs.

Thanks for your note Mrs. [Redacted].
No clout here. Kevin is a good Chief Executive and his opponent is just trying to get another government pension.
I do my best to do what is best for the Republican Party and we have made a lot of progress in two years.
Also, I’m a volunteer. The Democrats Chairman is Speaker of the House Mike Madigan, who has made a fortune from his position.
