You still have time to become a delegate or alternate delegate to the 2016 Illinois Republican State Convention in Peoria which takes place on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21.

It’s springtime in a presidential election year, and that means it’s also rigged convention season. And nowhere can you expect to find cronyism and corruption in full bloom like here in Illinois.

Some officials of the Cook County Republican Party went out of their way Wednesday night to further destroy an organization that wasn’t very productive to begin with.

The bottom line for Trump supporters in Illinois: our work isn’t done.

As a state delegate you can help fight to ensure that the 12 persons chosen for At-Large Delegate spots to the Republican National Convention go to true Trump supporters.

The thugs and the haters only win the war if decent Americans abandon Donald Trump as he is now officially the only presidential candidate in either party with the courage to stand-up for what is right.

Donald Trump is a proven master at getting even the laziest and most inept public officials off their behinds and forcing them to do their jobs.

Ted Cruz is someone willing to lead his flock astray, a user, and someone who doesn’t care the slightest bit about turning good people into enablers for his dishonesty and constitutional opportunism.

Finally having a leader who recognizes who the real heroes are is why Republicans are feeling proud again.

Donald Trump represents a threat to these ineffectual poohbahs in the same way he represents a threat to do-nothing public officials.
