With the help of Republican lawmakers, legislation allowing illegal immigrants to obtain a state drivers license passed the Illinois House today by a vote of 65 to 46.

As long as Republican lawmakers refuse to hold ranks on a slam-dunk Republican issue, pointing fingers at the Democrats is just a pointless exercise in hypocrisy.
