I thought Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass’ report last week from his breakfast interview with Andy McKenna was particularly weak. In particularly, he includes this quote from McKenna: ”My dad has been generous to Republicans and to myself, and he’s made contributions to Democrats, including Mayor Daley. But I’ve never made contributions to Democrats.”
Kass allows that statement (as well as others) to go unchallenged.
